The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to implement an own handicap system for disc golf. The system is based on the principles of traditional golf’s handicap systems. The program is implemented in an Excel environment and is based on the EGA and WHS handicap systems’ principles for calculating golfers' handicaps. These calculation principles are presented from a golf perspective and applied to disc golf.
The program is tested through rounds, but the final test run is left to the users. In addition, the program can also be used in golf, especially to compare the two (EGA and WHS) calculation principles. Based on the tests, the program seems to work adequately. Finally, suggestions for improvement are presented.
