A review of the strategy process in the company resulted in reducing the number of sales regions from seven to four. In addition, the number of physical locations was reduced. A part of customer managers will work from home offices. As a result, the challenges of line managers will grow due to the increased geographical spread of their teams. The central focus of the operational line managers will be to implement change in their organizations. Practicality this means that both line managers and the management board will carry responsibility for their joint decisions. Implementing changes after a long period ofrelative stability has led to significant change resistance. As a result, efforts are being made to develop the skills of line managers to support change. Theresults of this work are the fundamentals of change management: a clear vision, transforming the corporate culture and attitudes to better support change, the importance of communications, as well as a unified management style across line managers. To change requires the emotional fortitude to adopt ways of working because learning new methods always requires effort from employees. The key results of this work are the change in use of time by line managers as well as the change in their own ways of working. In this way, new processes and ways of working can be implemented in the organization.
