Tuotannon optimointi työohjeiden ja toimintatapojen kehittämisen avulla

Abstract

Työn tavoitteena on kehittää elintarvikealalla toimivan yrityksen Keski-Suomessa sijaitsevan toimipisteen tuotantolinjastojen työohjeet toiminnan tehostamiseksi ja tuotannon optimoimiseksi. Keskeinen syy tuotannon työohjeiden ja yleisen toiminnan kehittämiselle on elintarviketeollisuuden yhä vahvempi kilpailutilanne. Tämä vaatii prosessien optimointia työohjeista alkaen. Työohjeiden kehittämisen lisäksi työn tavoitteena on selvittää haastattelujen avulla toimipisteen eri roolissa toimivien henkilöiden näkemykset sekä toiminnan nykyisestä tilasta että parannusehdotuksista tulevaisuutta varten. Viimeinen tavoite on esittää korjausehdotukset jatkoa varten. Yrityksen toimialan ja toimintaympäristön sisäistämisen tueksi työssä käsitellään teoriana yleinen elintarvikealan kuvaus. Työn tuloksena syntyi tuotannon työohjeet kahdelletoista toimipisteen linjastolle. Haastattelujen analysoinnin tuloksena hahmottuivat kehitysehdotukset tuotannon ja toiminnan kehittämiseen. Kehitysehdotukset jakautuvat kolmeen eri vaiheeseen. Kehitysehdotuksien tavoitteena on luoda pohja yrityksen toiminnan jatkokehitykselle ja mahdollistaa kokonaisvaltainen tuotannon optimointi tulevaisuudessa.

The objective of this research is to develop the production manuals for the productions lines of a factory operating in Central Finland in the food industry to optimize its production and processes. The main reason for the development of the production manuals and general procedures is the increasing competition inside the food industry. This demands for the unification of the company procedures and production optimization starting from the production manuals. In addition to development of the production manuals the aim of the research is via interviews to report the views of the people working in the factory of both the current state of operations and proposed improvements. The last aim of the research is to present proposals for improvement in the future. The research contains a theory part of the food industry to facilitate the assimilation of the business sector and operational environment of the company. Resulting from the work are the production manuals for twelve production lines of the factory. As the result of analysing the interviews emerged the concrete proposals for improving the production and operations of the factory. The proposals are divided in to three stages. The aim of the proposals is to create a platform for the factory to further develop its operations and to enable the comprehensive production optimisation in the future.
