How can Finnish ninth graders’ perception of their entrepreneurial selves be measured? : A report on the building process of a survey instrument

Abstract

This report provides an overview of a survey instrument that aims to measure the Finnish ninth grade pupils’ perception of their entrepreneurial selves. The aim is to review the validity and reliability issues of this survey instrument. This report is related to a national research project, which will be conducted in Finland during 2019–2022. The research is funded by the Yksityisyrittäjäin Säätiö (Foundation for Private Entrepreneurs). The target group of this research is all Finnish ninth graders (15–16-years-olds) and it covers young people born in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The research survey is a web-based online study.
