Johdannaisten talousraportoinnin kehittäminen asiakkaiden tarpeisiin : case: Figure Taloushallinto Oy

Abstract

Raportoinnin merkitys yritysten taloudellisessa päätöksen teossa on kasvanut vuosien saatossa yhä tärkeämmäksi. Yhtiöt muodostavat raportoinnin avulla mielikuvan tulevasta sekä reagoivat valitsevaan tilanteeseen yrityksessä sopivalla tavalla. Tässä kandidaattitutkielmassa tutkitaan erään suomalaisen finanssialan palveluntuottajan johdannaisraportoinnin toimivuutta asiakkaiden näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksessa on selvitetty laadullisin menetelmin toimeksiantoyrityksen johdannaisraportoinnin kehityskohteita tarkoituksena etsiä puutteita sekä mahdollisia kehityskohteita. Tutkielman empiiristä osuutta varten on tehty lomakekysely, jossa on kysytty yrityksen asiakkailta heidän mielipiteitään tämänhetkisestä raportista.

Kysely osoitti tämänhetkisessä raportoinnissa olevan puutteita, mutta paljon myös jo toimivia osiakin löytyi. Tulokset näyttivät, että nykyinen raportti palvelee sellaisenaan hyvin osaa asiakaskuntaa sekä raportin toimitustapa on nykyisellään toimiva. Tulosten perusteella voidaan kuitenkin sanoa johdannaisraportoinnin kaipaavan tulevaisuudessa kehitystyötä erityisesti visuaalisuuden sekä asettelun osalta, jotta se palvelisi asiakkaita entistä paremmin.

Reporting in the financial decision making of companies has grown more and more important over the years. Companies use reporting to form an image of the future and react to the prevalent situation in an appropriate way. This undergraduate study explores the functionality of the the Finnish financial operator's derivative reporting from the perspective of clients. The study has examined the development sites of derivative reporting by the assignment company using qualitative methods to look for shortcomings and potential development targets. A form survey has been conducted for the empirical portion of the thesis, which has asked the firm's clients for their opinions on the current report.

The survey showed shortcomings in current reporting, but a lot of already working parts were also found. The results showed that the current report serves well part of the customer base as such, and the delivery method of the report is currently functional. However, based on the results, it can be said that derivative reporting needs development work in the future for in terms of visuals and layout, to better serve customer.
