Tiivistelmä
Diplomityössä selvitettiin Loviisan voimalaitoksen hätälämmönsiirtoketjun lämmönsiirtokapasiteetin koestuksen ajantasaisuus vertaamalla hyväksymiskriteereitä uusimpiin turvallisuusanalyyseihin ja tarkastamalla koestuksen laskentaprosessi. Loviisan voimalaitoksen koestusmenettelyä tutkittiin voimalaitoksella tehtyjen mittauksien ja Apros-analyysien perusteella. Lisäksi käytössä olevan hätälämmönsiirtoketjun kapasiteettikoestukseen käytetyn menettelyn antamien tuloksien realistisuudesta ja herkkyydestä muodostettiin arvio.
Diplomityössä on esitetty ydinvoimalaitoksilla hätälämmönsiirtoketjun koestukseen käytettyjä menetelmiä ja koestusmenettelyihin liittyvää lämmönsiirron teoriaa. Käytössä olevia koestusmenettelyitä selvitettiin luvanhaltijoilta lomakehaastattelulla. Vastauksia käsiteltiin anonyymisti ja vastauksien perusteella muodostettiin lyhyt kuvaus eri koestusmenettelyiden periaatteista.
Loviisan voimalaitoksen koestusmenettelyä arvioitiin kokonaisuutena lämmönsiirron teorian ja laitoksella tehtyjen mittauksien perusteella. Mittaustietojen ja uusimpien käytössä olleiden turvallisuusanalyysien perusteella havaittiin koestusmenettelyssä ylikonservatiivisuutta ja tunnistettiin tarve lämmönsiirtokapasiteetin laskennan päivittämiselle. Käytössä olevan koestusmenettelyn havaittujen haasteiden perusteella lämmönsiirtokapasiteettikoestukseen päivittämistä pohdittiin eri vaihtoehdoin. In this master's thesis, a study was made to check up-to-dateness of testing the heat transfer capacity of the emergency core cooling system of the Loviisa power plant by comparing the acceptance criteria with the latest safety analyses and by reviewing the calculation process. The testing procedure of the Loviisa power plant was studied based on measurements made at the power plant and with Apros-analyses. In addition, an assessment was made of the realism and sensitivity of the results of the procedure used for heat transfer capacity testing.
The master´s thesis presents the methods used for testing the emergency core cooling system at nuclear power plants and the theory of heat transfer related to the test procedures. Different testing procedures in use were found out from the license holders through a form interview. The answers were processed anonymously and based on the answers, a short description of the principles of the different testing procedures was formed.
The testing procedure of the Loviisa power plant was evaluated as a whole based on the theory of heat transfer and the measurements made at the plant. Based on the measurement data and the latest safety analyzes available, over conservatism was found in the testing procedure and the need to update the calculation of the heat transfer capacity was identified. Based on the perceived challenges of the testing procedure in use, different options were considered for updating the periodic test of the emergency core cooling system.
