Tiivistelmä
Process automation is considered a key tool to bring efficiency and sustainability into existing setups and processes by organizations to maintain a competitive edge. This thesis study is carried out to solve the problem of the smooth delivery of product documentation faced by a team managing an enterprise application in the healthcare domain. More specifically, the study explores the current state of knowledge about utilizing process automation to bring sustainability and efficiency to the process by solving a problem with an artifact. The research adopted a DSRM (Design Science Research Methodology) to solve the problem with an Automated Screenshot Capture Framework (ASCF) in order to address the issue of manual screenshot capture for product documentation. The thesis focuses on developing a software driven automation framework, ASCF that is tailored to the specific needs of the organization under study. The system developed integrates the existing product to streamline the existing manual process of screenshot capture and enhance the efficiency of product documentation delivery and sustainability efforts. The results demonstrate a significant reduction in manual intervention, leading to improved accuracy, shorter processing times, and increased resource optimization. By analyzing the data collected after the implementation phase, the report highlights the significant impact of process automation on efficiency and sustainability.
