Tiivistelmä
This study presents the relationship between human values across three dimensions (the importance of values at work, the application of values at work, and the importance of values in personal lives), job satisfaction, and well-being through a mixed-method approach involving a quantitative 98-item survey and qualitative interviews. Data were collected from a sample of 249 IT employees, comprising 169 Thais working in Thailand, 33 Thais working abroad, and 47 participants from other countries. The Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the data. The findings reveal statistically significant and positive correlations between applying Achievement, Hedonism, Self-direction, and Security at work and job satisfaction. Furthermore, it highlights a statistically significant and positive correlation between the importance of Self-direction at work and well-being. However, there are negative correlations between job satisfaction and the application of some values at work, such as Tradition and Conformity. Overall, this study provides empirical insights into the relationship between values, job satisfaction, and well-being among IT employees.
