Sidosryhmien suorituskykymittariston suunnittelu ja laadinta yhteistoiminnallisessa rakennushankkeessa

Abstract

Tämän diplomityön ensisijaisena tavoitteena on tuottaa sidosryhmien suorituskykymittariston suunnittelun ja laadinnan viitekehys, joka huomioi yhteistoiminnallisen rakennushankkeen ominaispiirteet. Sidosryhmien suorituskykymittariston suunnittelun ja laadinnan viitekehyksen tavoitteena on esittää prosessikuvaus, kuinka rakennetaan suorituskyvyn mittausjärjestelmä yhteistoiminnalliseen rakennushankkeeseen. Työn toissijaisena tavoitteena on tunnistaa yhteistoiminnallisesta case-hankkeesta johtamiskäytäntöjä, jotka liitetään sidosryhmien suorituskyvyn kehittymiseen.

Tutkimustyö toteutettiin kvalitatiivisena eli laadullisena tutkimuksena ja tutkimusotteena toimi case- eli tapaustutkimus. Tutkimustyön teoreettinen osa koostuu kirjallisuuskatsauksesta, joka käsittelee aiheita: yhteistoiminnallinen rakennushanke, sidosryhmä, yrityksen suorituskyky ja suorituskyvynmittaaminen sekä suorituskyvyn mittausjärjestelmän toteutus. Tutkimuksen empiirinen aineisto kerättiin puolistrukturoitujen teemahaastattelujen avulla case-hankkeessa työskennelleiltä projektinjohtourakoitsijan toimihenkilöiltä sekä operatiivisilta sidosryhmiltä. Haastattelujen tutkimustulokset analysoitiin teemoittelu menetelmällä ja tämän perusteella esitettiin ehdotus ”sidosryhmien suorituskykymittariston suunnittelun ja laadinnan viitekehyksestä”, joka vastaa tutkimustyön päätutkimuskysymykseen.

The primary goal of this master’s thesis is to produce a reference framework for the design and drafting of stakeholder performance metrics. The reference framework must consider the characteristics of a cooperative construction project. The aim of the reference framework measurement system is to present a process description of how to build a performance measurement system for a cooperative construction project. The secondary goal of the thesis is to identify management practices from the cooperative case project, which are connected to the development of the stakeholders' performance.

The research work was carried out as qualitative research. The sample was a case study. The theoretical part of the research work consists of a literature review that deals with the topics: cooperative construction project, stakeholder, company’s performance and performance measurement, and the implementation of a performance measurement system. The research's empirical material was collected by interviewing employees of the project management contractor and the operational stakeholder group who worked in the case project. The interviews were conducted as semi-structured thematic interviews. The results from the interviews were analyzed by using the thematic method. Based on thematic method, a proposal was presented for the “reference framework for the design and preparation of stakeholder performance metrics”. That proposal answers the main question of the research work.
