Tiivistelmä
Effective interaction frameworks are vital in optimizing the design process, ensuring that it aligns with specific categories and meets the needs of designers, clients, and end-users. This study's focuses on scenarios where end-user involvement proves advantageous. The framework aims to enhance collaboration, & communication among clients-consultant designers-end-users, leading to products that align with end-user expectations.
To achieve this goal, the thesis employs research methodologies such as interviews, surveys, and case studies to identify existing communication challenges and obstructions in the current collaboration process. The findings are systematically analysed using widely approved thematic analysis. The findings from the deployed research methodologies will provide recommendations on bridging the communication gap in industrial design engineering projects, offering guidance for future initiatives. The suggested framework's effectiveness in fostering communication, collaboration, and coordination will be evaluated with the input of experts in the field. While this research focuses on industrial design engineering projects in Finland, its findings can offer valuable insights for similar endeavours worldwide, contributing to the advancement of the field.
