Tiivistelmä
Tutkimuksen tavoitteena tutkia miten kohdeyrityksen toimintatapaa voisi selkeyttää ja yksinkertaistaa sekä madaltaa organisaatiorakennetta ja kehittää toiminnasta ketterämpää. Tutkimuksessa on tarkoituksena tutkia miten kohdeyrityksessä toimivat asiantuntijat näkevät organisaatiorakenteen nykyiset vahvuudet ja kehittämiskohteet sekä ovatko näkemykset samansuuntaisia vai eroavatko ne toisistaan. Jos eroavaisuuksia on, niin miten näkemykset eroavat toisistaan. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tapaustutkimuksena.
Tutkimuksen tulokset osoittavat, että organisaatiossa viime vuosina tehdyt muutokset ovat olleet oikean suuntaisia ja organisaatiolla on sekä kykyä että halua muuttaa toimintaansa maailman muuttuessa ympärillä. Nykyinen matala organisaatiorakenne nähdään kohdeyrityksen voimavarana ja tutkimuksen tulosten perusteella voidaan todeta, että kohdeyrityksen toimintatapa on varsin ketterä tällä hetkellä. The aim of this study is to investigate how the operating method of the target company could be clarified and simplified, as well as lower the organizational structure and develop a more agile operation. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the experts working in the target company see the current strengths and development areas of the organizational structure, and whether the views are similar or different. If there are differences, how do the views differ from each other. The research was carried out as a qualitative case study.
The results of the study show that the changes made in the organization in recent years have been in the right direction and that the organization has both the ability and desire to change its operations as the world changes around it. The current shallow organizational structure is seen as an asset of the target company, and based on the results of the study, it can be stated that the operating method of the target company is quite agile at the moment.
