Tiivistelmä
A variable reluctance (VR) resolver with a modular stator design is considered. Its stator consists of four magnetically insulated cores with their own set of windings, which is the minimum number of winding sets required to implement a VR resolver principle. The paper shows the operating principle of the proposed VR resolver, addresses the main design parameters, and challenges related to the accuracy of the device.
