On using blockchain for protecting copyrights

Abstract

This study explores how blockchain technology can be used to protect creators' Copyrights. Firstly, it introduces the definition, characteristics, operation mechanism of blockchain technology, and the classification of blockchain technology in various application fields. Secondly, it analyzes the importance of copyright protection. The current problems faced by authors and the inadequacy of traditional copyright protection mechanisms. Subsequently, the application of blockchain technology in copyright protection was discussed, including its application in copyright registration, transactions, and rights protection. By analyzing the differences between traditional and blockchain, a workable protection architecture is designed. Finally, the research results are summarized, and the future research prospects are proposed. This study is of great significance to the copyright protection of creators. The use of blockchain technology can solve the problems in current copyright protection and provide better copyright protection mechanisms for creators.
