Tiivistelmä
In recent years, lithium-ion batteries have become widely used as an important energy storage device due to the rapid development of electric vehicles, renewable energy, and other related fields. However, lithium-ion batteries produce a significant amount of heat during use. Moreover, high temperature can seriously influence the performance and safety of the battery. Based on this background, this thesis aims to study the thermal characteristics of lithium-ion batteries and their temperature distributions under different heat dissipation scenarios, and to propose effective thermal removal schemes. By reviewing the relevant research and basic principles, a numerical model is established and numerical simulation is made for lithium-ion battery packs. For the air-cooled heat dissipation conditions, four different inlet and outlet layout schemes are proposed and the heat dissipation effect is evaluated. In addition, the effect of different parameters on the cooling effect is explored.
