Tiivistelmä
New product development plays a critical role in a rapidly changing world. The constant growth of problem-solving methods application for incremental and radical innovation duties applies pressure on the research and development teams. In addition, each method is not a universal remedy but dominates in different fields of practice. The great number of methodologies and tools make it possible to use them according to the set of circumstances of the challenges the design team faces. For comprehensive experience methods and their tools are applied simultaneously.
This study investigates the modern situation of the mixed methodologies application, specifically the Design Thinking method, the TRIZ method, and the ISQ tool. Furthermore, based on the findings analysis proposes a particular mutual framework, that is visualised and explained. The motivation is to compensate for the shortcomings of methods and intend to be effective versions of the aforementioned.
