Tiivistelmä
The goal of the thesis was to improve the DC link voltage stability caused due to load disturbance in a three-phase grid connected converter system. The technique used to do that was to introduce a compensation in the DC link voltage control loop. This was done using transfer function-based methodology. The reduced transfer function model of the DC link voltage control loop was taken under consideration for simulation and testing the effect of the compensator. The simulation and results were carried out using the MATLAB Simulink software version 2023b. The results show that this technique reduces the voltage drop with a significant improvement and the impact of the compensator variables on the output DC voltage of the system.
