Suomen energia- ja ilmastostrategioiden kehitys 2008-2022

Abstract

Tässä kandidaatintyössä tutkitaan Suomen energia- ja ilmastopolitiikassa tapahtuneita muutoksia vuosina 2008–2022. Päälähteenä tutkimukselle on käytetty Suomen energia- ja ilmastostrategioita vuosilta 2008–2022. Strategioiden sisällön analyysin perusteella kandidaatintyö pyrkii etsimään strategioista joko eroavia tai toistuvia teemoja ja niiden kehi-tystä yllä mainitulla ajanjaksolla. Teemojen lisäksi yhtenä tutkimuskohteena ovat olleet Suomen ilmastotavoitteet ja niiden toteutuminen. Ilmastotavoitteiden toteutumista on tutkittu kasvihuonekaasupäästöjen kehityksen näkökulmasta. Sisällön analyysissä on apu-na käytetty kirjallisuutta, joissa tutkitaan Suomen suoriutumista pitkän aikavälin energia- ja strategioiden muodostamisessa.

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on investigating the changes in Finnish energy and climate policies from 2008 to 2022. The information was mainly sought from the National Finnish energy and climate strategies formed during years from 2008 to 2022. The main point of this thesis is to find either differing or corresponding themes and the development of them in these strategies. In addition to the themes this thesis investigates Finland’s implementation of climate policy. The implementation of the climate policy has been investigated from the greenhouse gas emissions reduction point of view. The used examination meth-odology is content analysis. With the help of previous literature that deals with Finland’s implementation of long-term energy and climate strategies this thesis aims to analyze Finland’s performance among that.
