Tiivistelmä
With all the sustainability challenges, comes the need to reduce waste and improve efficiency, plus reduce emissions wherever we can. Digitalization has helped us to reduce tangible items and assets in our lives, but we still need to live somewhere, which means these buildings have to be built with reduced emissions. One part of this puzzle is the emissions coming from industrial floors, and ways we could recycle other industries waste streams to support floor building and also to produce these floors to be highly resilient against wear and tear, at the same time when the lifetime CO2 emissions are minimized. This study is about that specific type of floor options, looking for quality parameters against material needs to find sweet spots for sustainability, quality and different use case needs.
