Tiivistelmä
An energy audit is a part of the development of energy efficiency in Finland. The Energy Efficiency Agreement, ISO 50001, and the Energy Efficiency System (EES+) define the basis for monitoring energy efficiency and energy use. An energy audit at the Pellos plywood factory is conducted at least once every four years, aiming to identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency and process productivity.
This report reviews the concept of energy efficiency, the most common energy efficiency indicators, the content of the Energy Efficiency Agreement, the ISO 50001 standard, and the EES+ system, which is strongly based on the ISO standard. Additionally, the aim is to comprehensively present the energy consumption and major consumers of all production lines and parts of the process in the Pellos plywood factory. The energy audit at the Pellos factory is statutory, and the content of the reporting is determined by the Energy Authority’s regulations.
An important part of the energy audit is identifying new energy-saving targets and developing energy use and its monitoring. The work presents proposals for improving both energy reporting and usage targets, as well as rough estimates of their economic impacts, if possible. These proposals are reviewed during the audit, and further actions are decided upon. Energiakatselmus toimii osana energiatehokkuuden kehitystä Suomessa. Energiatehokkuussopimus, ISO 50001 ja energiantehokkusjärjestelmä (ETJ+) määrittelevät pohjan energiatehokkuuden ja energiankäytön seurannalle. Energiakatselmus Pelloksen vaneritehtaalla suoritetaan vähintään kerran neljässä vuodessa ja sen tarkoituksena on löytää kehityskohteita energiatehokkuuden ja prosessin tuottavuuden parantamiseen.
Tässä työssä käydään läpi energiatehokkuus käsitteenä, sekä yleisimmät energiatehokkuuden mittarit, energiatehokkuussopimuksen sisältö, sekä ISO 50001 ja siihen vahvasti perustuva ETJ+ järjestelmä. Lisäksi tarkoituksena kerätä kattavasti Pelloksen vaneritehtaan kaikkien tuotantolinjojen ja prosessin osien energiankulutukset ja merkittävimmät kuluttajat. Energiakatselmus on Pelloksen tehtaalla lakisääteinen, ja raportoinnin sisältö määräytyy Energiaviraston määräysten mukaan.
Tärkeä osa energiakatselmusta on uusien energiansäästökohteiden löytäminen ja energiankäytön tai sen seurannan kehittäminen. Työssä esitellään ehdotuksia niin energiaraportoinnin, kuin käyttökohteiden parantamiseen, sekä karkeat arviot niiden taloudellisista vaikutuksista, mikäli mahdollista. Nämä ehdotukset käydään läpi katselmuksen aikana ja päätetään jatkotoimenpiteistä.
