Tiivistelmä
This thesis explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), in the educational sector. Through a systematic review, it examines the applications, benefits, and limitations of AI-powered tools such as chatbots, highlighting their potential to personalize learning, automate feedback, and improve engagement. The study identifies key challenges, including ethical concerns like bias and data privacy, and evaluates real-world implementations to propose a targeted solution—a chatbot for the System Modelling course at LUT University. The research bridges academic insights and practical applications, contributing a roadmap for integrating LLMs into Finland's education system while emphasizing scalability, accessibility, and ethical deployment.
