Bringing innovation to market has long been a challenge—and an opportunity—at the intersection of academia and industry. While groundbreaking inventions often remain confined to research labs, their true value is only realized when they reach real-world applications. This thesis develops a structured roadmap for transitioning innovations from the earliest stages of research to market readiness and scale. Grounded in established commercialization theories and enriched by insights from industry experts, the study focuses on the Bridgeless Rotor Synchronous Reluctance Machine (BLRSynRM), a novel electric motor technology. The proposed roadmap offers a practical, theory-driven approach to overcoming the challenges of commercialization, bridging the gap between invention and industry adoption.
