Tiivistelmä
Heavy-duty electric vehicles (HDEVs) are becoming more common globally. The battery capacities in these vehicles are also increasing, so charging with extremely high power is needed for convenient usage. This paper presents an overview of the high-power chargers that have appeared in literature. The rated power of the chargers ranges from 350 kW to 4.5 MW. The main scope is in the AC-DC and DC-DC converters, and what type of topologies have been implemented. Other points of interest are the use of SiC MOSFETs and the overall efficiency of the system.
