Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis analyses the gradual changes in the sports betting industry over the years. The focus is on highlighting the growing role of algorithms and artificial intelligence in sports betting. The study examines how these technologies have transformed betting systems and reshaped the experiences of both bettors and betting companies. The primary goal of the thesis is to evaluate which party primarily benefits from these technological advancements.

Tämä kandidaatintyö analysoi urheiluvedonlyöntialan muutoksia vuosien varrella. Työn painopiste on korostaa algoritmien ja tekoälyn kasvavaa roolia vedonlyönnissä. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan, miten nämä teknologiat ovat muuttaneet vedonlyöntijärjestelmiä ja muokanneet sekä vedonlyöjien että vedonlyöntiyhtiöiden kokemuksia. Lisäksi selvitetään, kumpi osapuoli on isompi hyötyjä näistä toimialan muutoksista.
