This Master’s thesis has underscored the viability of 3D-printed PLA substrates coated with ZIF-8 as highly effective materials for phosphorus recovery from aqueous solutions. By addressing existing knowledge gaps and presenting novel synthesis techniques, it provides foundational insights and strategies for advancing phosphorus management practices, significantly benefiting both environmental conservation efforts and the water treatment industry.
