Tiivistelmä
The main objective of this thesis is to model the operation of photovoltaic (PV) panels and analyze fault detection techniques using Simulink. This study aims to simulate the normal and faulty operating conditions of PV panels, especially focusing on common faults such as shading, short circuit faults and open circuit faults. By skillfully using the software, fault detection algorithms are developed and implemented, thereby simulating and evaluating their accuracy and reliability in detail. In addition, through this thesis, we can optimize the performance of the PV system to minimize the energy loss due to faults.
