Tiivistelmä

Software engineering plays crucial systems shaper role, in the modern electric mobility advances. We investigate impacts of software-related strategies in industry 4.0 electric mobility era. Impacts of software-defined vehicles for the automobile industry future are covered with core contribution on discussion the mobile applications and solutions from manufacturers and 3rd parties. We explore Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in electric mobility and also their roles in terms of a seamless user experience. We cover integration and contributions of software engineering techniques to the phenomenon, including: blockchain, Machine Learning, and deep learning in terms of solutions to solve problems related to electric vehicle batteries and charging station-related matters. And last, barriers of user adoption are discussed with development areas for software-based features. Study concludes with in-depth view of the relationship between software and electric mobility future research opportunities.
