Tiivistelmä
As environmental concerns grow, software developers increasingly need practical tools to reduce the energy impact of their code. This thesis presents a Green Coding Handbook designed to guide developers in adopting green coding practices. Using a Design Science Research approach, the handbook was developed through multiple iterations, combining insights from literature and feedback from industry experts and developers. The final version is structured as a maturity model, offering clear and practical guidelines tailored to varying experience levels. It serves both as a practical reference and a foundation for future green coding efforts in software development.
