Tiivistelmä
This thesis focuses on the health monitoring of machine tool spindles. The research includes creating a three-dimensional geometric model of the spindle in SolidWorks. Then construct a finite element model in Abaqus and performing static and modal analyses to obtain its stress distribution, displacement changes, and key modal characteristics. After that, A virtual machine tool scene was then created in Unity. Aim to examine the status of the spindle under different operational status and visual characteristics.
The results show that, under the specified typical operating conditions, the maximum stress and maximum displacement of the spindle increased with the load level. The main response regions were mainly concentrated in the middle and lower regions of the spindle. In summary, this research provides a methodological foundation for the condition assessment, health monitoring, and subsequent fault prediction of machine tool spindles.
