Tiivistelmä
In the modern era apple presses are crucial machines to produce apple juice for mass consumption, pasteurizers are also invaluable for the safe and long-lasting containment of the juice. However, most apple press systems range from massive industrial complexes to small manual powered machines as such an in between system and design is needed.
This thesis seeks to create the between design for small orchards, either family or small business owned, with as many commercial parts as possible while making it tractor attached so it is mobile and onsite usable alongside having an interconnected pasteurization system.
The use of 3D modelling software’s and structural simulation ensures that the design is applicable in real life and capable of holding onto the loads that is it subjected to. Finally, the design is compared to its market rivals to evaluate its economic viability.
