Tiivistelmä

With the continuous increase in private vehicles, parking management has become a common information service problem in campuses, commercial areas, and community garages. Drivers hope to know the availability of parking lots and parking spaces before arrival, while managers also need a systematic way to view orders, revenue, and parking-space status. This thesis designs and implements a parking lot management system based on a WeChat Mini Program, aiming to verify a lightweight mobile parking service process. The system supports parking inquiry, parking-space reservation, order processing, simulated settlement, and administrator-side status maintenance.

The system adopts a front-end and back-end separation architecture. The front end is implemented based on the WeChat Mini Program and provides different operation pages for ordinary users and administrators. Ordinary users can browse parking lot information, filter parking spaces by parking lot, floor, and status, create reservation orders, view order records, and complete a simulated payment process. Administrators can view parking-space statistics, recent orders, parking lot revenue information, and manually maintain parking-space status. The backend is implemented as a Node.js HTTP service, providing interfaces for login, parking lots, parking spaces, orders, simulated payment, statistics, and status updates. The current demonstration environment uses a local JSON file to store runtime data. Meanwhile, the thesis designs a MySQL database structure covering core entities such as users, administrators, parking lots, parking spaces, charging rules, parking orders, payment records, and parking-space status logs.

Functional verification in the local environment shows that the system prototype can complete the main business processes on both the user side and the administrator side. The system demonstrates the core information flow in parking management, including parking-space inquiry, reservation creation, order status changes, simulated settlement, and manual status maintenance. However, the current version has not yet integrated official WeChat login, real merchant payment, parking sensors, license plate recognition, gate control, or production environment deployment. These functions can be regarded as future extension directions, allowing the system to gradually develop into a more complete smart parking management platform.
