Tiivistelmä
Digital transformation is a strategic priority for organizations, yet integrating DevOps with decision-making poses challenges. While much research focuses on the technical aspects of DevOps, less is known about how organizational factors influence successful transformation. This study investigates the relationship between DevOps practices, decision-making, and software delivery capabilities through semi-structured interviews with 17 industry practitioners. Using the Gioia methodology for analysis, the findings indicate that successful digital transformation relies on a collaborative culture, experimentation, digital awareness, and decentralized decision-making. DevOps practices like automation and continuous delivery improve software quality and organizational responsiveness. This study enhances the understanding of how culture, decision-making, and delivery capabilities shape transformation outcomes, offering valuable insights for organizations aiming for effective DevOps-driven digital transformation.
