Tiivistelmä
Palvelukehitystoiminta sitoo huomattavan määrän resursseja ja on pitkäkestoista toimintaa. Innovatiivisuuteen tähtäämällä ja systemaattisella tuotekehitystyöllä yritys parantaa jatkuvuutta omassa liiketoiminnassaan.
Alusta-ajattelu tuo uuden ulottuvuuden tuotteiden ja palveluiden kehitykseen. Alustan kehittäminen tukemaan tuote- ja palvelukehitystoimintaa ja yksinkertaistamaan tuote/palvelurakenteita antaa yrityksissä lisäpotentiaalia esimerkiksi lyhentyneiden kehitysaikojen, paremman kompleksisuuden hallinnan ja kustannustehokkuuden nousun myötä. Toimintojen tehostuminen yritystasolla saa aikaan mahdollisuuksien lisääntymisen nykyisillä liiketoimintasektoreilla.
Palvelualustan kehityksellä päästään palvelurakenteen mallintamisen kautta parempaan liiketoiminnan hallitsemiseen ja systemaattisempaan tuotekehityksen läpivientiin. Palvelualustan yhtenä tärkeimpänä hyötynä on, että palvelun rakenteellisuus saadaan kuvattua alustaan. Lisäksi on tärkeää määritellä vastuutukset alustan kehityksessä, sekä pystyä mallintamaan informaation kulku (rajapinnat) prosesseissa. The service developing is a long-time activity which ties lot of resources. By setting sights on innovativeness and by systematic product developing the particular company can improve its continuity in the current and future business.
The service platform developing creates a new dimension at the developing of products and services. The developing of platform to support product and service developing and to simplifyoffering structures gives companies additional potential by shortened developing times, better management of complexity and by increased cost-effectiveness. The intensifying of functions at corporate level enables increasing opportunities at present business sectors.
With the developing of service platform via service structure modeling is achieved better business management and more systematic R&D processing. One of the most important benefits of the platform is that the service can be described structurally in it. In addition it is important to define the service architecture a.k.a the interfaces (information) and responsibilities when developing the service platform.
